Fashion collars have been around for some time now but I am starting to see them more and more in South Africa. While in Italy I desperately looked for one but couldn’t find it one. So imagine my delight when I found two over the weekend at the Fashion Market on Hope street. The two I bought are both covered in Spanish lace. The one in cold and black and the other red and black. I found they add such a nice touch to my every day outfit and just adds that additional edge. You can either have a detachable collar or add some detail to an existing collar. If you are a little unsure as to wether this will work for you here are some ideas to which style you might like how to wear them.
Wear your collar with:
A little black dress
Over a jersey
With a low V or round neck dress
Over a shirt collar
Dress any outfit up by adding studs, fur or patterns on your collar
Layer your lace
