Black theme throughout my dream home

I am starting to think that my dream of having a black element in every room in our house might just stick. Having black walls or floors just appears to be an absolute must for me some day. Now all I can hope for is that my husband will agree.

Black as a theme colour is timeless, it can be matched with absolutely anything and can go from classic to contemporary in a heart beat. Instead of having a set themed home, you can have different design themes or elements but the colour is what ties it all together. When seasonal trends come, you can easily match it to the black and then change it again next season. I honestly believe with enough natural light and additional lighting it can be absolutely beautiful to have a continuous black theme throughout the house.
