Mornings are getting lighter, days are getting warmer and we are slowly but surely going for sun downers again. Summer is on it’s way and all I can think about is what beach looks I am going to wear. I really love that different styles of bikinis and full swim suites are in for summer.
My absolute favourite at the moment is the fringe swim suite. The best part is that it looks great on a bikini or full piece. It looks so beautiful when you walk, what a great benefit!
There are so many different bikinis that are super fun and trendy this season. Colour block (mix & match) is the biggest trend. It’s really nice to wear a print and a solid colour together. Prints normally have a few colours in them so choose the most prominent one and use that as guideline when buying the rest of you bikini. The good thing with this trend is you can wear any style top and bottom so pull out all your bikinis and start pairing them. It is much more exciting to go shopping when you can buy a different top and bottom, there is so many more options.
The bandeau bikini top is a hot summer trend. Some of them come with built-in cups and optional neck ties. They are comfortable and they also looking stunning if you are going out in the day with it under a loose tank top.
The high waisted bikini bottom add a retro twist to the traditional bikini. It is a great way to hide the bits you don’t want to show. It does show a small section of your mid-drift which is normally girls thinnest part of their tummy. It is a great look to feel comfortable and stylish in.
Full piece swim suites are more in now than ever. It does not matter what shape you are they look great on all types of girls. The most prominent styles are the V neck, cutout and vintage. They are available in so many different prints and colours so you have a wide variety to choose from. This summer is all about colour and prints so go all out and buy a full piece with a colourful print or a solid colour with fringe detail.
Accessories like a big straw hat, a beach bag and big Chanel sunglasses complete any beach outfit. If you going to a beach party; wear a gorgeous full piece with a flowy long skirt or beach dress over it. Sun drapes look glamorous and are easy to throw in your beach bag. Beach jewellery is also an up and coming summer trend. Keep it simple and if you want to wear chunky jewels make sure you bikini or one piece swim suite is not too busy.
